Our Curriculum
At Supreme Kids Academy, a bay area preschool, we know that children need a constant exchange between child-centered and teacher-directed activities. Our program is designed to keep students rotating between classes and stations throughout the day. Our students are stimulated by the opportunity to move throughout the facility while exploring various themed classrooms combining age-appropriate curriculum and play.
Library and Circle Time
This is a time to share finger plays, chants and rhymes, read a story, movement games and relaxation activities.Circle time provides a platform for listening, developing, developing attention span, promoting oral communication, and learning new concepts and skills.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab provides the students with computer instruction via interactive software that allows them to practice math, reading, and writing, skills, learned in other classrooms from a technological perspective.
Arts and Crafts
In the Art Studio, students will manipulate a variety of art media and use a variety of art tools. The children will enjoy expressing their creativity with paints, modeling clay, chalks, crayons and markers.
Theatre/Dramatic Play
Students are able to use their imaginations as they dress up and play as different characters in our expansive costume wardrobe. It is a time when they break through the walls of reality, pretend to be someone or something different from themselves and dramatize situations and actions to go along with their character or role.
Music and Movement
The Music studio gives students the opportunity to cultivate an appreciation of music. Play-based musical experiences will include singing, moving, and listening. Each of these activities helps the brain stay alert and also serves as a stimulant for increasing memory.
Optional Services
We are aware that extra-curricular activities are an important part of a Childs growth and development. We have licensed trained professionals that come in on scheduled days and times for activities. Some of the activities included:
